Marcelo Buz, 36, is CEO of the National Information Technology Institute (ITI), an instrumentality linked to the Presidency of the Republic, licensed Town Councilor of São Leopoldo, surrogate State Deputy in Rio Grande do Sul. He held the positions of Municipal Secretary of Human Rights and also Deputy Municipal Secretary of Public Security. As an entrepreneur, he was a franchisee of Prudential do Brasil, a partner in marketing companies and in the furniture industry.
He has a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing at ESPM, he has an International Executive MBA at UFRGS. MBA modules taken at EADA – Escuela de Alta Dirección y Administración de Barcelona and at HEC – École des Hautes Études Commerciales, Paris; Course of Brand Management and Multicultures in Multinational Organizations at McGillUniversity, Montreal; he participated in High School Exchange programs in NY, USA, and Germany. Commander of the Juscelino Kubitschek Entrepreneurial Merit Cross. He was a volunteer at Jr. Achievement. He is a polyglot and speaker in the areas of Data Protection Law and Digitization.
